It’s been a wild couple of weeks, Finished off my racing season at the Lone Star 600. Over 200 cars started the race Friday for 300 laps and 165 car Saturday night for the last 300 laps. Almost broke into the top 100 both nights. Driver’s from out of state won it both nights, can’t wait till next year!!
Been talking to a good friend of mine a lot lately, known her for almost 20 years. We talk about everything from A to Z and how our kids are doing and life etc etc. I’ve been very proud of her personal accomplishments as of late and her total life style change into fitness.
Now i’ve never been one to really be a gym rat, I’ve been to a gym a hand full of times and at one time had a membership. Gyms were always too packed and I always figure if i was getting out of my wheelchair to use a machine the chair would be in people’s way.. Now with a kid of my own and a single full time dad I really felt like i had no time to go and that well, being a chair user I get plenty of upper body exercise.
After a lot of thought today. I do need over all exercise, my legs need a lot and hell it wouldn’t hurt to get in a routine around the house. So starting today it’s 15 mins of walking on my crutches and slowly go from there!! Hey It’s a start!! and we well see where we go from there.
Everyone starts somewhere! Good for you for making that decision!
